Here's a few styles of breastplates we've created. Also known as the cuirass, this is the centerpiece for any suit of armor. All are made from thick 8/9oz. water-hardened vegetable tanned leather unless noted. Please contact us for pricing on custom shapes and designs. For even more realism, all items can have "battle-damage" effects added to them, such as cuts and dents. Just let us know. Other colors are available. Everything is usually made when ordered so actual product can vary from pictures shown.

It has six buckle straps and antique brass ornaments. The sides are specially designed to accomdate a variety of waist sizes. Shown is stained rustic brown, giving it a dark brown appearance with a hint of red.
Includes: breastplate, backplate and both main shoulder plates. The pteruges (shoulder strips) are not included.

The spaulders are made from heavier 9/10 oz. leather and are weathered and battle-damaged for a realistic effect. Even up close, most people will believe it's actually metal. They are also articulately designed which lets them move around with the arms. It has six buckle straps and antique brass ornaments. The breastplate is shown stained antique black, giving it a dark brown natural weathered look.
